Bob, Bobby, Brother Bob..........you will be deeply missed. Now, as good and kind and patient as Bob could be.......he had his limits. One of my favorite memories was the time he was partnered with me, Josie and Carla in a golf outing/fundraiser. all three of us were terrible golfers and were out there for the fun of it. And Bob was having fun too, but he took his golf game seriously (or any endeavor he undertook for that matter) and our antics ended up pushing him over the edge. mid-way through the 15th hole we inadvertently broke him. after the umpteenth time of the three of us bursting into uncontrolled laughter and breaking his concentration he missed a shot. Oh boy. He took that club and started banging it into the fairway a half dozen times screaming at the top of his lungs that he would never do this again. and then with all his might he flung it across the fairway. We all stood there silent and motionless for a moment and then all four of us started laughing because it was so unexpected coming from our Bob. We love you Brother B.

I've been a customer of Bob's with Flinn Scientific for numerous years. Bob was always available to point out new products, help in pricing a bid, or help out if there was a problem with an order. In the last few years we realized we had a common interest as I grew up in the South Haven area (Saugatuck) and still visited my family regularly. My husband was often on the look out for him on the South Pier as he also loves to fish there when we are in the area. My thoughts and prayers go out to his whole family.
