Dear Sis. Montgomery and family,
Our condolences on the loss of such a great man. We were honored to pastor this very loved member of the South Haven UPC in our early years of ministry. He was filled with the Holy Ghost during this time and what a change God made in his life. He was dedicated to the church, always giving of himself. Bro Wayne had tremendous building expertise.
While praying with him recently in the nursing home, tears slid down his cheeks even though he couldn't talk. He truly loved the Lord. May the family know that although we will miss him here on earth, it is heaven's gain. Our love and prayers to the family. May God give you strength to carry on during the coming weeks and months of loneliness.

Miss Lula and family,
I was sad to hear of Mr. Montgomery's passing away, but am thrilled for him that he is with his Savior now. I know that the last couple of years have been tough on him and all of you so rejoice that he is with the Lord and is not suffering anymore.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
