So sorry for your loss. I also lost my son this week-he was only 37 and left behind 3 girls and a wife. This was our first tragedy in our family-it was unbearable all week long but somehow we got through it. Just wanted you to know that I was thinking of your family and I will say a prayer for you all. !

Hear hear. I knew Big Jim only from the e-campfire/facebook world, but knew how much he loved life, hunting, his job, his family. He personally invited me many times to join hunts and I never did. I really wish I had. With deepest sympathies to his wife and family, I know Jim is on the big hunt now, guiding Fred Bear to the next adventure.

I am unable to make it to the visitation or service but have Big Jim in my thoughts and prayers. I am taking time now to reflect on the memories of Jim and pray with all the family and friends at this 2:00 service. Penny, my deepest sympathy and condolences to you. He really did make a lasting impression on all those that he came in contact with. And how good was his secret recipe raspberry sauce? He will be missed but never forgotten. Life is a short journey and Jim lived it well. Peace to you brother and enjoy that big hunt in the sky.
