Tony & Family, So sorry for your loss. Your father was a wonderful influence on me during my baseball days. I use many of his "sayings" to this day. He was one of a kind. Steve

Will miss Chuck and the many conversations of deer hunting in the area around his home and the UP. A true sportsman and gentleman in every respect. Rest in peace.

A much deserved thanks to all you have done for sports in South Haven. Your support and encouragement has influenced many young people to give their best and never give up.

As a young avid baseball fan I was allowed to go to Monroe Park to watch the older guys play fast pitch softball. Chuck was there and boy was he exciting to watch. His enthusiasm for the game coupled with being a great guy to talk to as I grew older was an inspiration for my love of the game. Thanks for being a part of my life.

Nobody loved sports as much as this man did. And his love for those who played the games was even greater. He had many little saying that have stuck with all of us over the years. He not only was passionate about baseball, he wanted to pass the game onto as many as he could. He was a competitor, coach and fan. He loved his family and friends and would do anything for those in need. We will miss Chuck, but all of us should feel blessed that he was in our lives. May he rest in peace and may the Lord be with his family and dear friends.

Tony, Vicki, and Hill Family, I am saddened by the death of my longtime friend and neighbor. So many fond memories come to mind...his love of the outdoors, many walks all around the neighborhood and surrounding area, always wondering how my family was doing and that great smile and twinkle in his eye, to name a few. I will miss not seeing him...the neighborhood will never be the same again, but I know that he is in a better place now with his beloved Joan. Take care and God Bless you all in the days and months ahead.

Entire Hill family, Saddened to hear of Chucks passing. Over 40 years of memories, almost all on the diamond. He was a hard nosed competitor who never gave up, and made a big impact on me through the years. One saying, out of dozens I'll never forget, "show em some ivory kid". Thanks Coach.
