Our family has had the privilege of having such a wonderful cousin to have all these years. I'll never forget how wicked Dave was with a squirt gun at our reunions. He wasn't very good at egg tosses but we all laughed and loved those memories. I will miss Dave and I pray to see him again at the Pearly gates. My love goes out to Vicki and the entire family. I'm happy that Dave is in a better place now, but I am so sad that he is no longer here. He would visit my parents with Randy V.W. and sometimes stay for over an hour visiting and laughing. When the time came for my father to pass, Dave and Randy dropped everything they were doing when I would call in a panic. Anytime I would see Dave I always new there would be that big bear hug at the end. I will miss that. And I will miss that infectious smile and spirit. I love you and your family. You all continue to be in my prayers. Heaven got a good one this time. God bless you all.

David was an amazing team player at the Padnos organization. The fondest memory from all those years was our loading of scrap to all parts of the world. Dave was part of the team that set records every time we were asked to load these ships. His memory will live on and he will be remembered as a real contributor to the Padnos Organization. I met David over 30 years ago when I started working at the South Haven Fire Department. He was one of those people that you instantly took a liking to. He was a good friend and mentor to many throughout the years. I will miss you at SHAES for those coffee breaks at the round table where you would try to convince me to head to Canada for the greatest walleye fishing in the world.
