Marilyn Miller, spunky lady, has left us. She was a great asset to Scott Club and had a twinkling eye when asked if she needed help with a luncheon she was heading: "Ah no I think it's all ready." A closed or open memorial will be forthcoming. Marilyn has willed her body to a medical school. She will be missed.

I had recently got to know Marilyn so much more than just another church member. She was a strong woman who knew what she wanted. We had long talks about life in general. She recently told me that she didn't know if living to be 90 was a blessing or a curse. I know that where she is now she has NO question that her life was a blessing. To her and many others. Condolences to all her family.

Sincerest condolences to the Miller Family on the passing of a very special lady. I first met Ms. Miller in the late 1970’s when she was a teacher at Hinsdale South High School in Darien, IL. Once I graduated, life took us in separate directions and I never saw her again. Our family began vacationing every summer in South Haven, MI approximately twenty years ago. One day (around year 2000) I was out for a run and saw a determined woman out mowing her front yard with a push mower. I told her that her lawn looked great – which led to small talk between us that eventually led to the realization that she was one of my teachers at HSHS. What a small world! Every year thereafter, when we were in South Haven, I would always stop by and talk to Ms. Miller. She was so kind and loved meeting my wife and children. She so enjoyed our company, and we so enjoyed hers and seeing her every summer for the past two decades. We are so sad to hear of her passing. Ironically, I found about it when visiting South Haven in early July, 2019. Our condolences to the Miller family. Your mother will be deeply missed. M. Hill Naperville, IL
