I worked for Ed at Whirlpool and the things I remember about Ed ~ Always went home to his lovely wife at lunch time. They were always together. Loved raisin pie so I made him one. Had a nasty coffee cup – I had to steal it from him to clean it really good. “Lectures” were long but he was never wrong Treated everyone really nice and the world was a better place because of him. Hope you (Ed) find lots of “Fun” in Heaven with Fran ~ with deepest Sympathy

I was so sorry to hear about Ed and Fran's passing. They were wonderful neighbors to my mom and dad for many, many years. Whenever I was home, we would always meet at the backyard fence and catch up. Ed was incredibly intelligent and I learned something new from him just about every time we talked. I loved how they were always together and seemed to be always on the go and always happy. They were just two truly wonderful, unique people and they will be greatly missed.

I knew Ed from Whirlpool Corp.. His office was very near mine. I always admired him as a person and admired his work and technical abilities. When his daughter won the Whirlpool scholarship I said to him, "Ed, think of how many more cars you can now fix" and he replied, " Think of how many cars I won't have to fix". A comment he often used was, 'MORE FUN". Condolences to the family. I feel sad knowing that he is gone.
